The course to be carried out on the Maltese territory and partly on the Italian one is carried out in Italian and English and includes, starting from the third year, English courses by level with the aim of allowing all students to reach the level 6.5 IELTS requirement. minimum to be able to apply for registration in the Maltese Professional Register and then be able to exercise the profession in all EU countries, including Italy, through the European Directive on the free movement of the Professional (Directive 2013/55).
At the end of the four-year period, the ICOM student will continue with a fifth year, to be held between Malta and Italy, for the achievement of the MSc title. Ost with release of a further 90 ECTS for a total of 330 ECTS. As an alternative to the MSc.Ost title, the student can achieve the Post Graduate Certificate achieving 30 ECTS for a total of 270 ECTS.
The ICOM Full Time course is in line with the European standard on Osteopathy (EN16686) and with the European framework for EFSOET and EFSOP education and training standards in order to train a competent, attentive osteopathic professional who at the same time demonstrates the ability to to carry out specific osteopathic diagnoses and to determine effective treatment plans that are adequate to the needs of the patient treatments and in line with the figure of the Healthcare Professional he represents
