The MFHEA has recommended that ICOM’s accreditation and license will be revoked on the 1st July 2025. No new students shall be enrolled by ICOM. Existent students shall be allowed to continue their studies uninterrupted until the 1st July 2025. However, the conditions attached to the licence will apply pending the outcome of any appeal process.”

Malta ICOM Educational awards degrees in Osteopathy, Physiotherapy and Dental Hygiene, in line with European Directives 2005/36 and 2013/55 on the free movement of the Professional. MIE qualifications allow the practice of the profession in all EU countries where these professions are recognised, including Italy, once registered with the Maltese Register of competence.

However, the qualification obtained allows graduates to seek registration with the CPCM in Malta.
